As I was reading through the MAA white paper from
Oracle, I wondered why it doesn't mention Advanced
Replication (or Streams) as a HA option. Is it becos
9i DataGuard (superior to 8i standby) is competent
enough to provide no data loss that replication is no
longer considered an option? Also can anyone tell me
the major difference between Replication and Streams
and why Streams is not for HA?
