RE: Moving trought a new level....

It's an oracle8i database and the problem Stara because there is not
technical documentation... two outsorcing companies has taken the project
and left it unfinished.. and there's no way to call another external company
and there isn't no one to want take it, and I have take it.. I would like to
make it because it¡s a good challenge..

The program it's developed in oracle forms 6i, I want to port it first to
oracle 6i but exploting all the power of oracle and later when all works
well and port it to oracle form 9 or 10g I don't know.

I have been thinking in develop first and oracle standard code but I don't
know how to face it, modify the bussines rule to work in database package
not in oracle forms modules...

I know I have a lot of work to be done, but I think that is the perfect list
to make my questions I know ther is a lot of people with a lot of knowledge
that could help...

Are you trying to move an application from one version of Oracle to another,
are you trying to move an application from another database to Oracle, or
are you trying to modify an application to take advantage of new Oracle
features?

Can you describe the basic architecture of the application (i.e. C++, Java,
Forms)?
