Hi All,

Sometimes, when I go to my sql prompt after 10 minutes or so, it takes very
long time to give the result for ‘SELECT’ or any other command on SQLPLUS.
This time could be between 20-60 seconds.

Can anyone throw light on how to minimize this time?
