RE: is it normal to have Oracle financials and other versions of ORAC LE databases on the same server?

Hi,
I have multiple homes on one machine (8.1.7 and 9.2). If you're having
listener conflicts then just use one listener. A single listener can listen
for multiple DB's without a problem. I always try to use the higher
versioned listener to avoid any problems. We're running 10.7 character
financials on the same machine as a 9.2.0.4 data warehouse and use the
listener from 9.2 without a hitch.

We have oracle 9 databases plus Oracle 8 database for Finanacials on the
same machine.
Is there a problem with this? Apart from listener clobbering each otherm,
which shouldn't happen, but is.

Thanks
