There are two Oracle 8.1.7.4 databases in question(HP Unix)

One is locally managed and the other dictionary
managed.

The tablespace names are mostly different but
the databases have the same tables.


Because of the difference in tablespaces the tables
where truncated not dropped prior to the import.

An import from the dictionary managed to the LMT
database has taken about 20 hours and is still running

This normally takes about 8 Hours

Any input will be appreciated
