Assuming that the "ISA server" is some sort of firewall, the secure way
would be to install Oracle Connection Manager to proxy connections through
the firewall. Connecting to an Oracle database through a firewall, though,
isn't something that most organizations are willing to allow, particularly
if the database contains sensitive information. Generally, they prefer to
set up VPN connections to their internal network.

Can any body tell me about how to connect remotely to Oracle 8i Server. The
