Just reading the manual about the process of recovering after the loss
of all members of an online redo log group or member of an online redo
log group. Whenever I do either of the following .



* ALTER DATABASE CLEAR LOGFILE GROUP 2

* ALTER DATABASE CLEAR LOGFILE UNARCHIVED GROUP 2





Do the current redo log files got deleted and re-created assuming that
the current redo log files are permanently damaged?
