Dear Gurus,
We are using Oracle 9 Release 9.2.0.3.0 - Production and Oracle Apps 11.4.5.
We have this identical setup at client side as well as our side.
As we are developing the interface programs for transferring data from Client Legacy system to Apps Instance.
While doing this we are using database links for communicating these 2 diffn databases..
I have some doubts on using database links in Queries...

1. Whether its feasible to use database links in queries where no. of table joins are more or we should used Materialized Views ?
2. Is there are any performance issues related to this as we are using dblinks for all queries we used in PL/SQL ?
3. Is there are any documents or Links where I can find how to write such queries ?
