Hi,
Here's how u find out if the version of Oracle is 32-bit or 64-bit.
1. Login to the Solaris server as oracle
2. Change directory to $ORACLE_BASE/bin
3. Type in the prompt --- $ file oracle
This will display wheather the executable is 32-bit or 64-bit.
To check if the Solaris OS is 32-bit or 64-bit -- The command "isainfo" is provided for precisely that reason, type isainfo -kv.
Note: Solaris 2.6 and earlier releases are always 32 bit and lack the "isainfo" command.

Subject: Which Oracle is installed on Solaris?
Hi All,
I've got Oracle 9i installed on a Solaris server. How do I find out whether the installed version is 32 bit or 64 bit?
Thanks in advance,
