Ok so it goes like this ;

Assuming that by now you are running 9.2.0.1 instance and you have a
live DB .

1. apply ou218 patch which will elevate OU 2.12 to OU 2.18
2. stop ALL oracle services and change them to "manual" mode.
3. rename oci.dll and ociw32.dll in to *.old (found in \bin folder
4. RESTART your machine
5. apply 9.2.0.5 "vanilla" installation
6. apply the needed changes to your DB (read Carefully the HTML help
coming with the patch .


The patches can be found in Metalink under patches

patches?. Can u tell me what all are the patch i need to apply to make
