Hello Friends,

I have Oracle 9.2.0.4 on HP-UX 11.11

when i cd to $ORACLE_HOME/bin

i can run sqlplus but i cannot run the lsnrctl program to start my listener.

when i run from the sqlplus prompt

SQL> conn / as sysdba

i get the error:

ERROR:

ORA-12547: TNS: lost contact

Please help.
