Here in the UK, things aren't quite as bad as the US (so far, touch
wood) and most of the people being outsourced at the moment are call
centre operations, but that doesn't stop me worrying and I can't/don't
want to know how people actually affected by it are feeling.

Maybe you are right, but IMHO it's a little harsh to tell people who are
justifiably worried about losing their jobs that "everything is your own
fault, it's global karma and you reap what you sow".

I hope that when the Far East begins to take outsourcing away from the
traditional locations no-one says the same thing to you.

its nobodys fault... i feel its over-discussed..
none of u cared about, when all tradional business collapsed here in
india when amercian giants came in..
our natural tradional drinks were repalced by the poison filled MNC
drinks...
Americans got patents on our basmati rice, turmeric, and neem etc which
we have been using here in india since pre-historic time, that time
there was not even
civilization in the continent of America.
it all happend becus of WTO, GATT, etc.. which the american govt forced
the third world counties to accept. now its back-fireing...
thats all .
