Well, there is no reason for our country to hand over
anything to another country either...and our
corporations are being shortsighted at this time...and
exporting the one thing we cannot afford to lose...our
technical advantages.
Hey, its a dog eat dog world out there...I'm afraid
that is isn't a world where we all join together and
hold hands and live in utopia. It is a contest..a
struggle. And I'm afraid we're undermining ourselves
in this respect for short term interest.
I have nothing against any other country competing in
the world...nice to have other countries starting to
catch up after so long...but, I also don't feel our US
companies should be actively subsidizing 3rd world
countries at the expense of our own citizens...nor
give away our advantages which if escaladed could
lower our tech. abilities and become a nat'l security
risk.....all for the short term economic gain.
I don't really see how you can be incensed...it is
just human nature. If it between YOUR family eating
and MY family eating...I'm gonna have to choose mine.
I cannot believe that you would be so altruistic as to
not think the same about your family...country and
economy.
I have nothing against any worker in any other
country...but, I do care about someone else gaining at
my expense.

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright, until you hear them speak....
