Hi,



I performed a fresh install with no database (9.2.0.4) then called oradim
-new -sid sid1 -intpwd sid1



This is what I get when I try to connect...





C:\>sqlplus /nolog



SQL*Plus: Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production on Wed Jun 30 16:16:38 2004

SQL> connect sys/sid1 as sysdba

ERROR:

ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel







This was a fresh, standard install on windows2000
