Folks,
I messed about moving master, msdb , model and some databases, moving them
out of their initial location worked fine, returning them has resulted in
the inability to start or connect to the server.
I get the following message:
A connection can not be established to SERVERNAME
Reason: SQL Server does not exist or access denied.
ConnectionOpen ((Connect())..
Please verify SQL Server is running and check your SQL Server registration
properties by right clicking on the server and try again.
Now when I right click on the ser=ver the same error comes up.
I have decided to move the mdf and ldf files out to a safe area, uninstall
SQLServer 2000 - re install and attach the Databases, what do you Gurues
think?
Thanks,
Luis
