Restart the MS SQL- SERVER Service or Transfer the tempDb files to the some
larger drive , if you have bigger Transaction

Can any one shed any light on this error? :

The log file for database 'tempdb' is full. Back up the transaction log for
the database to free up
some log space.

Is not mssql server suppose to handle translogs for temp db automatically?
