Couple of options:

SQL mail (see xp_sendmail in BOL) - not recommended
xp_smtp_sendmail - http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=xp_smtp_sendmail
CDOsys or CDONTS (I use CDOsys in my system) : http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;312839
