Has anyone ever run SQL Server 7.0 and Sybase on the same server? We are in
the process of consolidating our database servers and we would like to put
all of our databases on one server regardless of database type. We
currently have 90% of our databases in SQL Server 7.0 but we do have a
couple of sybase databases. I am going to start testing to see if the two
database servers can run on the same hardware without conflict. I am a bit
concerned though since SQL Server and Sybase have a shared past and was
wondering if that would cause any problems.

Any advice you have is appreciated.
