Hi there,

We are currently testing using Veritas Netbackup software to backup our SQL
server 2000 databases on our Finance server. When the backup runs it backs
up all but 1 database successfully. We can see no difference in this
database to any other.

The error message given in the EM - Current activity log is:

BACKUP failed to complete the backup database FINMIS to
VIRTUAL_DEVICE='FINMIS-VNBU0-1888-540' with blocksize = 512, maxtransfersize
= 65536, buffercount = 1

Has anyone come across this error, know what it means, or suggest the best
means of finding out?
