RE: Group by behavior

I am not sure whether there is any setting like that. It is against
the 'Group By' logic.

Subject: Group by behavior

Hi all

Can anyone recall a switch or undocumented DBCC setting that changes the
behavior of the following in Sql Server?

Column 'so-and-so' is invalid in the select list because it is not contained
in either an aggregate function or the GROUP BY clause.
