Hi Gurus;

We are constantly updating our standards and procedures for the SQL
environment. We have a database for a 3rd party vendor application. They
have created several local DTS packages owned by a login account created for
the consultant. The problem is that consultant accounts are treated
different that any regular domain account. The have a 3 month validity and
after that, they are removed unless the network group receive a request to
reactivate.

We can change the owner of the packages to be the SA. However, I will like
to know what is being done by most shops. Also, what will be the
implications, good or bad of using the SA account as the owner of the
package versus creating another account only for this task.
