You obviously do not have any boxes running SMS. You need to be careful
dedicating too much ram to SQL Server, because you can actually cause the DB
Engine to starve the OS. Been there, done that, wont go back.

Sorry, but letting SQL Server take all the ram is bad practice as far as im
concerned. I have seen many a server grind to a halt with huge queries and
large users bases over short periods causes sqlserver to jump its memory
consumption to max. When we talk max, its around 10 to 15mb less than the
TOTAL ram. With servers (esp .net servers) running losts of other services
in the background for a variety of internal and other reasons to satisfy
dbms and OS calls, then have fun with that dedicated box! you will need it.
