Meg is this a dedicated SQL Server? Or do you have other applications
running?

Subject: RE: SQL Server memory
Hello!
You know the value for max server memory is 2147483647? Is that bits or
bytes or KB? Might sound like a silly question but I'm only a junior!
Also, we have 2GB of RAM and our 'set working set size' is set to 0, our
min memory is 0 and our max memory is 2047. Does this sound like a good
plan or would you recommend changing?
Thanks!
Meg

Sorry, but letting SQL Server take all the ram is bad practice as far as
im concerned. I have seen many a server grind to a halt with huge
queries and large users bases over short periods causes sqlserver to
jump its memory consumption to max. When we talk max, its around 10 to
15mb less than the TOTAL ram. With servers (esp .net servers) running
losts of other services in the background for a variety of internal and
other reasons to satisfy dbms and OS calls, then have fun with that
dedicated box! you will need it.
