This is a permission's problem. You need to make sure that you are running
the agent on both servers with the same id. The monitor server agent needs
rights to connect to the primary and secondary servers to view the log
update details.

Log shipping
I am setting up log shipping between 2 sql server both sp3 on separate
servers:
I have all jobs setup to run, they are all successful, however I am still
getting the:first_file_000000000000.trn last file copied and loaded. I am
not even sure where to look for any other errors. There are no errors
reported in the history table in msdb.
However, when I cut and paste the job into query analyzer for better
errors
and I come up with the following:
[Microsoft SQL-DMO (ODBC SQLState: 28000)] Error 18452: [Microsoft][ODBC
SQL
Server Driver][SQL Server]
Login failed for user '(null)'. Reason: Not associated
with a trusted SQL Server connection.
Any thoughts??? Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this.
