Non-clustered indexes stores RID pointers when you have a heap, they
store the CLUSTERING KEY when you have a clusted index. So they have to
be rebuilt to change the pointers.

Subject: Clustered Indexes
Is it true that :
When a clustered index is created or recreated, all nonclustered indexes
are automatically recreated?
Thanks for any info.
