I think Janet is asking about a named instance of SQL Server, not a DB.

As long as you have the Enterprise Edition and the various schemas backup
option is set to FULL, the Log Shipping Wizard can create those schemas
NEW on the fly on the DEST. for you.

The server only has the SQL Server software installed. No instances are
created yet on the new server.

As long as you have the Band Width between the Source and Dest. SQL
Servers and no down throttling on your ntwk, you could quickly setup Log
Shipping thru the DB Maint. Wizard.
