Hi
Please check the event log for the error. Secondly you can copy the data
folder kept in MSSQL folder anywhere. And you can also re install the
sql server. Also when you uninstall SQL server the Data folder is not
removed.
So you can always have the MDF and LDF files.
Thanks
Siddharth

Subject: please help
Dear All,
There is a problem in restarting SQl Server Service, when I
restart the service, it starts the service, but after few seconds,
automatically stops the service i.e. shows red color and again
disappears. I have not even taken backups, so I cannot re install sql
server.
Please help, I am very new to SQL Service Manager.
With Warm Regards,
Deepak Batra
