I have multiple (in excess of 15 servers) DB servers and msdb is not over 35
MB on any of them. I guess it depends on the number of schedule jobs, etc.
but 14 GB seems rather large. Can you shrink it (dbcc shrinkfile)?

Subject: What size should the msdb database hover around?
My msdb database is sitting around 14 gig...I have had space issues with
this box, and wonder if this database should be smaller...I am still
attempting to backup and such, however, I am out of space, and there have
been numerous issues.
