I currently have Microsoft SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.194 (Intel X86) Aug
6 2000 00:57:48 Copyright (c) 1988-2000 Microsoft Corporation
Personal Edition on Windows NT 5.1 (Build 2600: Service Pack 2)



But I have tried and failed with SP3. When I say fail, I don't get any
adverse messages but SELECT @@VERSION doesn't change after I:

1. Install Database Components SP3a (SQL2KSP3.exe).

2. Install Analysis Services Components SP3a (SQL2KASP3.exe).

3. Restart services and applications.

I am using an IMB Thinkcentre 2.8GHz with 1 gig of ram.
