I have a requirement to implement replication between 2 remote servers.

I have fews doubts regarding the same.
In the server where I'm going to replicate data from other server, has only
500MB space left in C drive.
SQL Server is loaded in the other drive.
I want to know whether the space in C drive is enough to implement
replication.

Is it required that system configuration must be same for both the servers?

Your suggestions means lot for me.
