RE: SQL2005 - general question

RE: SQL2005 - general question

With respect to DTS, there is one anomaly that bears mentioning.

DTS has been replaced by integration services.

Minor detail... nothing to worry about ;-)

There is supposed to be backwards compatibility, in that you can run SQL
2000 DTS from SQL 2005, but you build new stuff in integration services.

Subject: SQL2005 - general question

Two questions:

1. Does anyone have or is anyone aware of a list of things (coding)
that are no longer allowed in SQL2005?
2. Does anyone know if there is anything to be careful of or any
anomalies in regards to the SQL2005 backward compatibility tool for DTS
packages?

Thanks ...Kevin
