Has anyone out there used both enough to answer a simple question or direct me to a more appropriate list or forum?

I am using ER/studio after years of using ERwin, and although the visual display in ER/studio seems head & shoulders above ERwin, there are some important administration tools that seem to be lacking. I can't seem to get ER/studio to let me change a datatype on a column in the physical model at all, let alone generating script as ERwin would to create a new table, move the data where they belong, and drop the old table...

Am I missing something, or would the Compare & Merge Utility be the right place to look for this, and is it just not present in ER/studio?
