When you say check replication, how do you do it? Did you go into the EM and
looked in the replication\subscriptions folder under GENMARKPROD?

Subject: Linked Server Issue
Hi,
On a server, I have SQL 2000 SP3 installed and I am trying to add a
Linked Server to a SQL 7 server. In the Linked Server Properties
window, I type in the name and the Server Type is SQL Server. In the
Security Tab, I check Be Made using this security context and I type in
the Remote login and password. When I click OK, the following message
is displayed:
Error 15028: The server 'GENMARKDPROD' already exists.
So, I checked the Remote Servers and sure enough the server GENMARKPROD
is listed. When I try to delete it, the following message is displayed:
Error 20583 : Cannot drop server 'GENMARKPROD' because it is used as a
Subscriber in replication.
When I check out Replication, I do not see GENMARKPROD listed anywhere.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
