Hi All......


I am currently in the middle of transferring data so that it is held in a
sql-server database rather than an access database while still keeping an
access front end. (with forms/queries etc)

There are 6 users with runtime versions of access. (on PC's on the network)
These connect to the access database on a server.(which holds the data).
This currently works fine. I have now moved the data from access database to
a sql server and put ODBC linked tables into the access database on the
server. The runtime is then pointed to the new db.

If I then run the new access database on the server it is fine and the
application works. I then try to run the access runtime versions on the
PC's which points to this access database and I get an ODBC error saying the
connection failed.( the ODBC connection which fails is the one that connects
the access database and the sql server db on the server).

Anyone got any ideas?
