Nope you can go from 2000 to 2005 but 2005 to 2000 a no go.
I am not sure why you would want to go back as 2000 won't be supported
in the future.

Hi all,
My sql server 2005 has been crashed.
Right now I have no environment of sql server 2005 and don't want to
make
new sql server 2005 environment.
Is it possible to use .mdf, .ldf file of sql server 2005 to sql server
2000
with attach .
I tried but after that database become in suspected mode.
Any one help if a database in suspected mode how I can make it in normal
mode.
I follow the sp_resetstaus, and update sysdatabases, but cant make it
live.
Pls help.
