Yup this works just fine. Just once you go to the "dark side" you can't
go back.

Subject: Interesting Upgrade Path

All,

I just upgraded a test server from 2000 to 2005 the other day
and I tried a migration path for the databases that I wasn't sure if it
would work, but it did and I was wondering if there were any "gotcha's"
lurking in the background. I merely stopped SQL 2000, copied the MDF,
LDF files to another drive and attached them to SQL 2005.

It seems to work very well, with only a few minor sp problems
that I am addressing, but am I forgetting/ignoring something?

Thanks all!!
