Not 100% certain will SQL 7 , but when you create the connection there is a
checkbox that says 'Prompt for password'. It MIGHT only be in SQL 2000

No - I do not think so ... but you could have your SQL Registration prompt
for a password each time it is opened.

Subject: Password Protect Enterprise Manager
Hello DBAs,
Is it possible to password protect enterprise manager so that a password is
necessary to open enterprise manager ?
Actually my problem is that i have to install SQL Server 7.0 in a client's
stand alone machine but don't want him to open enterprise manager.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Arun
