Greetings All,

I've been wrestling with this problem for a couple of day's now and it's
really starting to bug me . Any help would be appreciated. :-)

I've a database with a primary file group and six other file groups.
I'm attempting to move it onto a Laptop so the application can be
demonstrated to prospective clients.

I've eventually achieved this by copying all mdf files across to the
laptop and used attach database - yippee.

What's bugging me is that I tried this using the TSQL as found in BOL
in the 'how to restore files and filegroups under existing files,
chapter. substituting my database name & filegroups & procreating the
database & filegroups on the laptop.

Anyone had similar problems ?

Regards
Dave Brown
