Hi Annette,

The files were moved across from server to laptop on a cd. The
application will be accessed as ' stand alone ' no network issues. The
failure is in the syntax of restore database where there are multiple
filegroups (7 in my case ).

Is there an error or some type of failure? Don't forget that in Windows
XP, you may need to change the firewall settings to enable access to the
SQL port.
