It depends on how you use the destination table. If you have users
accessing the destination table, you wouldn't normally truncate the
table as it would empty the table.
For truncating the table:
(1) Create a Execute SQL task with the truncate command for the
destination table
(2) Add a workflow object, specify "On Success" of the SQL Task the next
task would be your transfer task.
