Subject: DBCC Shrinkfile
I have used the DBCC Shrinkfile on the Log file but not the database
file. I was wondering is there a way to tell how much space is allocated
for the database vs. how much is being used in the database?
For instance if I look at my properties for my database it tells me how
much is allocated but I want to see how much is being used before I run
the DBCC shrinkfile. This may be a rookie question so sorry if that is
the case.
