Subject: Recovery Models

Am I right in thinking that when I set my recovery model (SQL 2000) to
'Simple' the log file will simply overwrite itself when it becomes full?

I know that by setting this you can only truncate the log and not
actually back it up, but I can't find anything clarifying that the file
effectively eats itself.

Cheers.
