Hi,

One more time, with subject!

I want to implement auditing for one of the databases on our sql server 2000 installation. This particular database is a read only database so I'm interested in logging every select, by every user with the 'public' database role.

I've considered using a trigger but Isn't there an easier way? Does SQL Server 2000 have a standard utility for doing this?
