Please start the sql services with domain account , if you want to take
backup on network path.

Hello,
I am getting the following error in the SQL log
BackupDiskFile::CreateMedia: Backup device
'\\servername\sharefile\pubsbackup.BAK' failed to create. Operating system
error = 1326(Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.).
BACKUP failed to complete the command BACKUP DATABASE pubs to
DISK='\\servername\sharefile\pubsbackup.BAK'
Here are some steps what I have done so far:
- I had setup exactly the same account with admin rights on the source and
destination server
- Checked permissions and set to Full
- Cannot query to the mapped drive. error: Server: Msg 3201, Level 16, State
1, Line 1
