RE: TSQL Problem

RE: TSQL Problem

Thanks for the replies, all.

We redefined the file in the ODBC text DSN, and were able to import the
data.

Thanks for the help.

Subject: TSQL Problem

I have a colleague who is having a problem with a DTS import of a text
file directly into a table in his database.

He is getting the following error:

"Need to run the object to perform this operation. Provider generated
code execution exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION"

He has verified his permissions on the DB, and has assigned his login
DBO privilege.

Any ideas what might be causing this or how to resolve it?
