Have a look at xp_logininfo, it'll do what you need.

Subject: Active directory Security Groups
Is there a way with SQL to get the security groups that the user belongs
to? I have a application that uses Sql Server 2005 and has it's own
security module. If I can capture the active directory group or groups,
I then can determine what data they can access in the application by
mapping the two.
Thanks,
Marty
