Also, if your box has more than 4 gig of memory make sure you install
the AWE patch for SP4

I have noticed that when SP4 is installed SQL gets stopped. Best to do
it in the off times. And make sure you have a full backup of ALL your
databases, including Master etc.

I have a production database that needs to be updated to SP4. I've never
installed an upgrade for SQL Server. Should this be done during off
times?
Have there been any issues that anyone has noticed after installing SP4?
