Hey guys,
I have been told by my employer that I need to get Microsoft SQL certified this year (MCITP: Database Administrator). I dont have a huge amount of experience but I have been learning quite a bit over the last year.
I have been managing a large deployment of SQL on a sql server 2000 cluster and some smaller deployments on sql server 2005. I am migrating the 2000 instance to SQL server 2005 64 bit in May.
Has anyone here gone through the process of getting this certification?
I read an article recently saying it is a high demand certification by employers, second only to the redhat RHCE credential, it even beat out CCIE from Cisco.
I just purchased the microsoft press kit for all 3 tests.
I just wondered if anyone here has gone through the process and what there thoughts are.
