No we don't.
Um...we recreated the test DB to look like the live...still same error.

I think applying Service Patches could sort things out.

Another possible issue when you backup source db and did not specify to
overwrite the existing backup, you ended up having multiple backup sets.
So when you try to restore your backup on destination server it doesn't
know which backup set to use.

You have to force the restore. If you're using Enterprise Manager
there is a checkbox on the second tab of SS2000 for forced overwrite.
I can't remember the syntax if you're doing this from Query Analyzer,
but you can cut and paste from Books Online. It tells you how there.
