Does anyone have a source management system that can do these two
things?

1. Compare DDL in a database with the source repository.
2. Deploy a proc, function or view to a database from the
source tool.

We're going to buy a new code management system (and maybe an extra tool
to interact with the database) for all of our DB and application code.

Alternatively,
Is anyone out there really happy with their source code management
solution? Why?
